Prior to our Cold Shoe, you would have found it impossible to mount an optical viewfinder to your camera. Solution? We made a Cold Shoe that fits in the flash mount—one that is easy to use for street photography.

JTec didn't stop there!

The NEX-5's powerful panoramic capabilities are best utilized with our Camera Plate or L-Bracket, which mount the camera to a tripod safely and securely. This means we increased the high resolution capabilities of your camera for panoramic landscapes, timed exposures and carefully posed portraits!

"I really enjoy using your Cold Shoe.
I have a bunch of Leica lenses, and am able to use them on the Sony NEX-5 with my viewfinders. I use my camera both indoors and outside, and am quickly able to adapt to the shooting style when using the external viewfinder. I set camera to aperture priority, then set the focus distance and aperture on the lens, frame with the viewfinder and shoot away. It makes quick shooting easy. Plus I can frame while seeing "outside" the lines, which helps me catch a few shots that I otherwise might miss. The shoe fit perfectly, and its style fits well with the camera. I believe this product helps me enjoy the NEX-5 even more, and I will always use it for street photography and family gatherings."
