John is an engineer and longtime owner of a highly specialized producer of precision
machined components for applications as disparate as sailboats and radar systems.
John's knowledge of design not only includes machined parts, but also building and
home design. His active mind and detail orientation means that the JTec camera components
will not only fit, but will be elegantly simple in design ... and will be precision
engineered to meet the needs of the camera users (prosumers).
Ted is a longtime business owner, as well as a passionate photographer. Ted's vision is
reflected in the overall concept of each JTec accessory. He has painstakingly field-tested
each product in the JTec line. Ted's number one goal is to improve the efficiency of
photography—designing and building components that enhance—rather than "get in
the way of" the photographic experience.
JTec's manufacturing facility boasts state-of-the-art machining centers. Each component
is meticulously inspected with the same quality control (QC) methods used for precision
aerospace parts.
JTec's methodology is the ideal combination of both art and function—produced by
